Pergola

What is a pergola ? Everybody I talked too had apparently problems with the word. So, the best is just to see by yourself what it is and then you can put whatever word on it.

First the material, Here you can see a close-up of some flower pots we will use as base for our pergola. All the stuff you will see further was hoisted up trough the staircases (10 floors) as our elevator didn't do it this WE. I guess I won't have to go swimming this Week :-)

Furniture

Finally furniture arrived and the last boxes were emptied.

Time to finish the parket before our furniture's arrival. After 18 months living in the appartement it was about time.

Chambre des invites

Just after summer, we decided that it was time to finish the little room. Below the result of our painting and refurbishing.

Remeber the old closet in the little room. Well it has been refurbished totally. First I took out everyhting and plastered again the inner part of the colset (see pictuer above).

The second step consisted in retilling the closet with left overs from the kitchens' floor. and rebuild the interior of the closet. The old doors were taken out and painted white.
The result can be seen below.

Terasse

Now that the summer is almost there (2006 summer), we had to take care of the terasse. Painting was the answer.

Final result. Looks much better, no ?
